Don’t expect Capcom to port 360 and PS3 games to Wii U

re6dlc

Capcom has taken to their forums overnight to discuss the likelihood of porting games onto the Wii U. The news? Not so good for Nintendo fans.

According to senior vice president Christian Svensson, “With regard to Wii U, in general we’re looking forward, not back, so late ports are generally not on the table.”

Whilst confirming Capcom did have plans for more Wii U titles, they’ve announced nothing beyond the upcoming Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

This is sure to make the guys over at Vooks.net unhappy… we know they were holding out for Resident Evil 6 on the GamePad.

Sad, but totally understandable. If they weren't looking to bring FUTURE titles to Wii U, I'd be worried (well, more worried).
