Disney and Warren Spector part ways following the closure of Junction Point Studios


Disney have confirmed that Warren Spector and the House of Mouse have parted ways following the closing of Junction Point Studios yesterday.

Speaking with Polygon, a Disney representative confirmed the split. Spector's LinkedIn page lists past jobs, including, Vice President, General Manager at Disney Interactive Studios and President at Junction Point Studios. His profile now lists him as unemployed with Spector positing "Wondering what comes next?... Want to talk?".

Spector previously worked at Ion Storm as studio director and was heavily involved in the Deus Ex and Thief games. Spector co-founded Junction Point in 2004 which went on to develop and release two games, Epic Mickey for Wii and Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two for PC, PS3, Wii, Wii U and Xbox 360.
