Wii U to receive Panorama View, Google Maps in 2013

We've just had another Nintendo Direct that's shown what's next for Nintendo's new Wii U console.

First up, Nintendo of America has confirmed that Google Maps will be arriving on the console in early 2013, providing Google's core mapping service plus an enhanced Street View mode specific to the Wii U.

Nintendo of America also unveiled its Panorama View mode, presenting you with full 360 degree movement in a variety of filmed scenes.

A set release date has not yet been confirmed, nor has Nintendo Australia made comment at this time. We'll update this story as we learn more.
