me3_coop

Update: Voting has now closed, and we have our winner! Fighting with Halo 4 for the LONGEST time, Mass Effect 3 took the lead early this morning and held on long enough to be crowned our Readers’ Choice GOTY 2012!

Congratulations to BioWare and EA for a game that obviously resonated with its fans.

The poll is below.

We’re almost done with this year’s awards! Check it out:

Stevivor’s GOTY 2012 — recap

It’s that time of the year again, people! Stevivor.com’s very own Game of the Year Awards will be released soon, but we thought we’d give you the chance to crown your own best title.

We’re starting off with a TON of games on the list, so in a few days we’ll prune the titles without a vote. Have at it!

Last year’s Readers’ Choice was Need for Speed: The Run… do you think Most Wanted will come through in 2012 to keep the trend going? Only time will tell.

There's 7 games on this list I'm yet to play which hinders myself from making a valid choice at the moment. Also Black Ops 2 definitely deserves to be on this list. Love that Sound Shapes is on it. Great game!

      I'll add BLOPS2 now. Oops! :S

For me it has to be The Walking Dead.
So maybe the gameplay side of things isn't that special but that story….damn! No other game this year has had me caring for the characters as much as this one. I may or may not have gotten a bit emotional towards the end :P

Ack! How did I forget that! Adding now! :S

+1 for Walking Dead. No other game got me emotionally like that one.

Loved XCOM but ultimately it was just too damn tough. Despite my many issues with some design elements of NFS MW, it has kept me completely enraptured for six weeks…

Great to see the indie Journey getting love though.

Additional one vote for Halo4 for me…!!!
