Over the weekend, Konami announced a patch and product update for Silent Hill: Downpour on Xbox 360. Just so we’re clear, it’s not the patch you’re thinking of (or hoping for) — that was issues within the Silent Hill HD Collection on 360 that we’d all like fixed.

The patch is available now for Downpour on Xbox 360, and a PS3 patch will follow “in the coming weeks,” said Konami.

The patch contains:

  • Improved frame rate
  • Fixed save game system
  • Fixed bugs in “Homeless” side quest/mission
  • Several other performance enhancements/bug fixes

We’ll let you know when the PS3 patch is also live.

    Is anybody still playing this? I gave up after only a couple of hours. Silent Hill hasn't been any good since the PlayStation 2 days.
