The past weekend, EA and Criterion confirmed with Polygon that their upcoming open-world racer, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, will make its way to Wii U in 2013.

“In 2013, Nintendo fans will be able to experience what it means to be Most Wanted amongst their friends on the Wii U,” EA simply said.

Good news if you’re plunking down cash for Nintendo’s new console — am I right, racing fans?
