It was announced today that the amazing Dishonored (don't believe me check out our review) would be receiving three DLC packs over the coming months. Better still, none of the packs will be released as timed exclusives so PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 owners can enjoy the new content all at the same time. Huzzah!

The first DLC will be Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials and will be available in December for $8.45 AUD (or 400 Microsoft Points). It will feature 10 challenge maps to test you combat, stealth and movement skills. Ten different and distinct challenges will test players including facing off against waves of enemies, a set of gravity defying drop assassinations and various races against the clock. On top of that Dunwall City Trials will include a brand new set of achievements and trophies for those hunters out there and for those who need to be the best, a global leaderboard will see you fighting for top position in each of the challenges.

The subsequent DLC packs will be released in 2013 and will add story-driven content through new campaigns. Pricing on these two packs is yet to be announced.

The focus of the second DLC will be Daud, the leader of a group of supernatural assassins known as "The Whalers". Coming to gamers in Spring 2013, this content will see you explore new areas of Dunwall and experiment with Daud's unique weapon and power sets. Once again, the game lets you decide how to play and the final outcome of the story will be determined by your actions and the choices you make.

Details on the third DLC will be announced next year.

At the Stevivor offices more Dishonored can only be good news. Are you ready to head back to Dunwall?
