Nintendo Australia reveals Aussie Wii U launch details

On the back or the European Nintendo Direct, five hours after the Japanese announcements, Nintendo Australia revealed launch details about the Wii U, including pricing, dates, and bundle information.

We'll be seeing the Wii U in Australia and New Zealand on 30 November 2012. Like in Japan, we'll also be receiving two bundles to choose from:

  • The Wii U Basic Pack, AU $349.95: includes a white Wii U console with 8GB internal storage and a Wii U GamePad
  • The Wii U Premium Pack, AU $429.95: includes a black Wii U console and Wii U GamePad, and with 32GB of internal storage, a stand for the GamePad and console, a charging cradle for the GamePad, a sensor bar and the Nintendo Land software.

Both packs also feature an HDMI cable and AC adapters for the console and GamePad.

What do you think about the storage space and pricing of these consoles, gamers? Will you be picking a Wii U up for yourself or as a Christmas gift for a loved one?
