Here’s the deal — we’ve got a great new video from EA Games here showcasing the various new multiplayer game modes in the rebooted Need for Speed: Most Wanted, developed by Criterion Games. We’ve also got extremely sweet looking Most Wanted T-shirts that we’re itching to give away to lucky readers. So, instead of telling you about these new games modes, we thought we’d combine the videos and T-shirts and make YOU do all the work.
This contest is nice and easy, gamers. To win one of five T-shirts (with their print on front and back as pictured above), here’s what you’re going to have to do:
- Check out the video, below, introducing the various new modes in Most Wanted. You’ve got a ton to view here, including standard racing followed by Jump, Takedown and Drift Challenges.
- Post a comment below telling us which mode is your favourite, and why. (If you’re using the Facebook comments area, make sure you’re a fan of Stevivor.com first!)
You have until Friday 24 August to get your entries in! At 12 noon, we’ll pick the five best entries, as determined by the Stevivor.com judging panel… and remember – their decision is final. This contest is open to anyone; Australian winners will have their prize shipped via Express Post, while residents of other countries will receive their prize via standard post.
Good luck to all that enter!

Has to be Takedown for me. Love the idea of having a “target” to go and get. I assume the target car could be a friend, which would make it even more sweet. Especially if I ever get the chance to put Jiggsy into the wall. =D
Takedown. Takedown. Takedown.
Reminds me of the old Daytona co-op days at the arcade when you’d nudge the back corner of your mate’s car, sending him into a wall.
Also, Lambo Countach FTW!!!
It's the drift challenge for me. There is just something so cool about hearing the engines roar and smoke pouring out of the back tires, whilst exceeding the speed limits sideways. I like cars going sideways, I also like crabs, so I guess I like sideways things. That's why I like the drift challenge, that and the fact that Kylie Minogue's 'Spinning Around' seems as though it's a perfect fit for the drifting challenge in the trailer.
Jump challenges, they look awesome and nothing better than getting to do something the missus won't let me do in the family Camry.
Drifting! Who doesn’t love drifting! I mean, come on!
Takdown mode for me, I can’t wait to smash people up!
Takedown! There isn’t a driver alive who’ll take me down.
Takedown, because I am sadistic and not content to just watch my opponents fade farther away in my rear view mirror. I must see them crash into a wall, flipping over and landing upside-down. That is true defeat.
Why no love for Jumping, guys? I’d love to catch some big air in a sweet ride.
I almost had my car taken away from me for drifing…..so I guess I should do it in a game rather than real life. Drifting gets my vote
Straight up racing. Nothing gives you a better sense of speed.
For me its got to be "Takedown" considering the awesome work Criterion has done on this game mechanic in the Burnout series you know it going to be incredible in Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
Also on a more personal note, during NFS: The Run I have had an ongoing rivalry with a fellow Stevivor community member and good mate Andy (aka: @WildMN34) who I was never quite able to beat, so given the inclusion of this mode in Most Wanted, this might finally be the opportunity I need to even the score ^_^.
Take down, why not make racing just that little bit more personal.
