EA Sports has just confirmed that EA Canada's NHL 13 will have a demo accessible in Europe on both XBLA and the PlayStation Network.

European Xbox 360 owners gain access to the demo on Xbox Live Arcade from 21 August, while PS3 owners receive it on 22 August via the PSN.

I've put a request in with EA Australia to confirm Australian availability, but we're pretty chummy with our European counterparts, so I'd say (primarily out of hope) it's likely.

If you can, who's going to download the demo to put the game through its paces?

[UPDATE] EA Australia has just confirmed the availability of the demo in our fair country at the same time. Happy days!

    Not really a fan of hockey, I'm always up for downloading sports game demos though, so I'll probably check it out.

    Awesome Detective work steve. I am very happy to hear the demo will be out on the 21st or 22nd to go with the time difference.

    Quick heads up to everyone I am starting a Australian only Gm connected for NHL 13. No rules have been set as we will be voting on everything or at least try to. Going to be on XBOX, the more the better gamertag is crankybaker.

      Awesome news, Brenton — I also know that the EA Australia Community Manager of NHL 13 is thinking of doing the same thing, so we should have a lot of options for once in terms of Australia, NHL, and social interaction on Xbox 360!
