“This House of Dreams” teases an Alan Wake…something…

We’re as in the dark as you are on this, folks. We’re probably just as interested in this as you are, too.

Last night, the Alan Wake Facebook page acknowledged a Blogspot site called “This House of Dreams,” and most are citing it as some sort of augmented reality exercise leading up to the announcement of some new Alan Wake title.

Actually, so too is Sam Lake, the lead writer of the Alan Wake series. Mostly unnoticed, Sam tweeted on 3 June saying, “It’s all true. ‘It will happen again, in another town, a town called Ordinary.’ It’s happening now.” He also included a link to the Blogspot page in his tweet. Sounds official to me.

The Blogspot site is run by a woman named Samantha, and chronicles her attempts to rebuild an old house she’s purchased. Whilst doing so, she continually uncovers poems, photos and has strange, unexplained dreams. The first blog post began in February 2012, and the site looks like it’ll be updated for quite some time.

While not explicitly stated, it’s a fair assumption that Alan’s got his hand in the art that Samantha is encountering.

So, readers — what does this all add up to? Are we looking at the groundwork for Alan Wake 2? I sure as hell hope so.
