Retro side-scrolling games have a soft spot in my heart, gentle readers; Scott Pilgrim vs the World remains one of my go-tos when I’m a little down. With that in mind, I’m sure you can guess how upset I was when I learned that the screenshot above isn’t for an actual Shaun of the Dead game.
Instead, it’s a piece of amazing artwork titled “Player 2 has entered the game” by Aled Lewis that will be featured in the “Crazy 4 Cult” show at Gallery1988 in New York City.
Awesome and heart-breaking at the same time, no? Here’s a look at the piece in full:
