Steve Perlman exits as CEO of OnLive

Well, that was fast.

Either via termination or a resignation (and we're not sure which, to be honest), OnLive has just announced that Steve Perlman is leaving the newly rebooted company. Perlman was in the news recently for remaining as OnLive CEO in the midst of a mass-termination of staff.

Gary Lauder, the lead investor in OnLive, will become the company's new CEO.

In a press release, OnLive said, "Steve Perlman, OnLive's founder and former President and CEO, is departing to work on his myriad of other projects," adding "Steve has created an extraordinary company that no one else could have created. He is a unique entrepreneur and deserves his legendary status in Silicon Valley as a creator of groundbreaking companies."
