Here’s the Falcatron Transformer that you created with Activision and Ford

falcatron

Earlier this month, we told you that you could head over to Ford’s Facebook page and help them design a Falcon Transformer with the help of Actvision. Today, that Transformer has been revealed. Say hello to the Falcatron, pictured above.

Says Activision, “via social media over 1,000 Aussie Facebook users came together to develop the character, choosing the iconic Falcon XR6 Turbo sedan to join the Transformers ranks, to stand alongside world famous characters such as Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.”

High Moon Studios received the specs of the Falcatron after Facebook polling had finished, and developed the Transformer accordingly.

What do you think? Did Aussies make the right choices when it comes to name, colour and design?

I thought transformers were meant to be stealthy when in vehicle form… don't get all the red either. robot mode is good but don't know what they were thinking with the mods on the car.

Looks like the voting was done by 13 year old boys who just finished watching The Fast and The Furious. The Falcon looks squashed (reminds me of the latest [much better] Ford Focus) and those colours… not a nice mix.

Being a turbo, where is the blow-off-valve in robot form? O_o

I actually don’t mind it tbh. Only issue is the name. Transformers’ names are not related to the brand of car. Give him a real name!
