It's Alive: Final Fantasy Versus XIII

Squeenix fans, breathe easy: Final Fantasy Versus XIII is still a thing.

Square Enix head Yoichi Wada has taken to Twitter to confirm that not only does the action role-playing game still exist, they’re actually working on it.

“There’s someone making a false rumour that Versus was cancelled,” Wada tweeted. “Haha… Just a minute ago, the regular Versus meeting ended. The presentation of the city knocked me off my feet~lol.”

Final Fantasy Versus XIII was was first announced at E3 way back in 2006, and has since only been seen in trailer and screenshot form.
