Ubisoft to release Xbox 360 triple-pack with From Dust, Outland and Beyond Good and Evil HD

triplepack

Well, we’re in two minds about this: if you haven’t played From Dust or Beyond Good and Evil HD, we’re ashamed of you…but at least you’ve got a cheap way to access the games soon!

Ubisoft has just announced a “Xbox Triple Pack featuring highly acclaimed Xbox Live Arcade games Outland, Beyond Good & Evil HD and From Dust.” They’ve also been good enough to summarise the games for us:

Outland

In the middle of Balance and Chaos, now stands one man whose efforts may bridge the ancient divide, or doom the world to destruction. The award-winning studio Housemarque teamed up with Ubisoft to create an ambitious platformer inspired by epic adventures such as the Prince of Persia® series. Each player’s adventure will take them between light and darkness and force them to adapt to an ever-changing world.

Beyond Good & Evil HD

In this award winning action adventure, play as Jade, a young investigative reporter, and expose a terrible government conspiracy. It is up to you and your loyal pig friend Pey’j to save your planet and its inhabitants.

From Dust

Discover a unique Modern God game where nature is the star: From Dust, created by Eric Chahi. Behold the beauty of a primitive world pulsing with life and face the might of nature. Beware the danger of a world that is constantly changing under your command. Control the destiny of a tribe struggling to survive and help it recover its ancestors’ lost powers. Immerse yourself in a world as exotically beautiful as it is dangerous. A universe where Nature reclaims what is Hers; and you are your people’s only chance of survival.

The triple-pack will be available in Australia on 20 September for $49.95.

I have not played any of those three. I tried the demo for From Dust but couldn't justify the price at the time.

from dust was great, but felt too rinse and repeat in later levels.
