EA Labels’ president says they “do not want to piss off” fans of Dead Space 3

You may have read our preview of Visceral’s upcoming Dead Space 3 yesterday. If you didn’t…well…we didn’t like it so much.

It sounds like we weren’t alone in those thoughts, either.

Frank Gibeau, EA Labels’ president, recently spoke with CVG and has acknowledged they’re listening to feedback. He’s also added that EA Labels as a group ”definitely do not want to piss off our fans.”

Straight after, however, the excuses came fast and furious. “We tried to open up the accessibility of the IP a little bit by adding a little bit more action,” he said, “but not undermining the horror.”

Well, we hate to break it to you, Mr Gibeau…but you might want to use the time from now until Feburary 2013 to un-undermine that sense of survival horror. Cause it’s pretty much gone.

if its an action game with limited or no scares I'll be very sad.
i thought dead space as a series was the new standard for Survival Horror :(

No need to jump to conclusions yet. Don't forget ME3 Multiplayer :)
