The Walking Dead game not launching on Australian consoles

In another episode of “Australians Getting A Specific End of the Stick,” Telltale Games has confirmed that their video game based adaptation of smash hit graphic novel and TV series The Walking Dead will not be arriving in Australia.

Speaking on their official forums, community manager “Mike” reponsded to a fans querying of where an Australian or New Zealand console version of the game was, saying:

“Sorry, but due to the OFLC ratings laws in Australia and New Zealand, and the fact that this is a mature game, we do not currently have plans to release the game there on consoles.

This has understandably upset many fans, with games like Prototype 2 and Dead Rising launching in recent months, both filled with copious amounts of gore and death.
